The gentle breeze caressed her

as she lay upon the beach

and the arm of the ocean

stretched its hand but could not reach

The moonlight shined down on her

lying there upon the sand

and some proud forsaken lover

was the one who held her hand

from the wilted rose that lay

held by a blood stained hand

on the beach of Murder Bay…

or due to something bad

It’s just that if I let myself

that love would drive me mad
